Social Media Club Corpus Christi (SMCCC) meets once a month to discuss a topic related to social media (see 2009 Schedule below), bringing in experts from all over the country via web conference or teleconference to give us insights and do a little question-and-answer. We also get together in between meetings to mix, mingle, network offline, and continue discussion.
Social Media Club brings together journalists, publishers, communications professionals, artists, amateur media creators, citizen journalists, teachers, students, tool makers, and other interested collaborators. Essentially the people who create and consume media who have an interest in seeing the ‘media industry’ evolve for everyone’s benefit. You don't have to be an expert or professional to attend. Amateurs, newbies and those interested in "getting started" are welcome!
We're currently looking for sponsors for upcoming events. Please contact us by emailing smccorpus(at)gmail(dot)com. For more details, visit our Sponsorship & Partners page.
