What is Social Media Club?

Social Media Club of Virginia Beach is a FREE interactive organization. We create a casual, warm and inviting environment in which to learn and teach social media skills for business and leisure. Members include people from beginner levels (What is a blog?) to advanced levels (I have 3,000 Twitter followers!).

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at Havana in Red Mill Commons. Admission is free.

Blog Set Up, Creating Strategy and meaningful content.

At the November meet-up, we discussed "Keeping Social Media Human." Although social media is Internet-based, it's still about two-way, respectful, organic relationships. Thanks to Francina Harrison, "The Career Engineer," for moderating a lively discussion. Her biggest message was that the quality of your content is more important than the quantity.
