Help us keep Social Media Club Corpus Christi events free! We're looking for sponsors to help cover the costs of hosting a growing group of 60 (and sometimes larger) professionals, business owners, techies, geeks, and gurus.
The Social Media Club Corpus Christi meets on a monthly basis to discuss all aspects of social media. Each program focuses on a specific topic, and includes a featured speaker and Q&A sessions to explore various facets of each topic.
Requirements of Sponsorship
Becoming a sponsor will typically cost between $150, depending on the event you sponsor. As a sponsor, you are encouraged to bring collateral, giveaways and provide your own promotional signage. You are responsible for bringing payment to the event.
Benefits of Sponsorship
As mentioned before, sponsors are encouraged to bring collateral, giveaways and provide promotional signage at the event. In addition, the Social Media Club will promote your sponsorship with a name, logo and link (where possible) in:
- Our montly email newsletter (the Social Media Club Corpus Christi e-newsletter list consists of more than 70 technology, marketing, advertising, PR and business professionals)
- The main Corpus Christi wiki page
- The event page
- Our Facebook event invitation (goes to an average of 500+ individuals). Here is an example.
- Our EventBrite event invitation (goes to our 70+ members & 200+ Twitter followers). Here is an example.
- Any related media attention given to an event
Sponsors are also given the opportunity to speak to our group for a few minutes at the beginning of our monthly meeting. We think this is probably the greatest benefit to a sponsor because we are a highly targeted group of prime consumers. Our group consists of educated professionals, many in their 20s and 30s, as well as business owners and media, marketing & PR professionals. This group is also proactive in the technology crowd and are definitely the "early adopters" of Corpus Christi, a highly influential set.
Sponsors also receive the eternal gratitude of attendees and organizers, good karma, etc.
